Who We Are

Tri-City Engineers is a full-service engineering firm serving residential, commercial, agricultural, and industrial clients in the Pacific Northwest. Services include structural engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, and electrical engineering. Tri-City Engineers provides permit handling and will provide designs that are ready for construction. In addition, Tri-City Engineers maintains close relationships with general contractors and fabricators and can provide a complete turn-key solution.




Our Staff

Killian Emory, PE
Structural/Mechanical Engineer

Killian Emory is the owner and principal engineer at Tri-City Engineers. Killian is a graduate of Washington State University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Killian is a native of the Tri-Cities area and currently resides in West Richland. His practice specialties include mechanical and structural engineering. He has over a decade of experience in engineering, and four years of construction experience. Prior to founding Tri-City Engineers, Killian worked primarily on industrial and commercial engineering projects. His clients included the Sandia National Laboratories, Los Alamos National Laboratories, Washington River Protection Solutions and CH2MHill.

Killian is a licensed engineer in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, California and New Mexico. In addition, he is a member of the Structural Engineers Association of Washington, the American Society of Civil Engineers, The American Institute of Steel Construction and the American Wood Council.


Joseph Park
Project Manager

Joseph grew up in Southern California and moved to the Tri-Cities in 2014 to attend Washington State University and fell in love with the local people and area. He met his best friend and wife, Grace, at the local Richland dog park in 2014 and married Grace in 2020. Although educated in computer programming, Joseph has a five-year professional background in the construction industry providing valuable experience and perspectives for our clients and projects. Fun facts about Joseph: Joseph enjoys spending quiet evenings at home with his family and two dogs, target shooting, and going to church. He hopes to one day grow a family in the Tri-Cities and become a positive local influence.


Jonathan Reseck, PE
Structural/Mechanical Engineer

Jonathan grew up near Port Townsend, WA and received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Walla Walla University in 2017. He has experience with product design and manufacturing. His primary responsibilities at Tri-City Engineers include providing structural engineering services for residential and commercial projects. Outside of work, Jonathan enjoys spending time with his wife and dog, hiking, camping, and exploring back roads on his motorcycle.


Andy Gonzalez
Engineering Technician

Andy was the first employee hired at Tri-City Engineers and has been with the company ever since. Andy was born in Pasco and has lived in the area for the most of his life. He earned is AAS in Engineering Technology from Columbia Basin College in 2018. Andy is proficient in AutoCad and is experienced in designing residential homes and post frame buildings. He also has experience in performing structural analysis for residential structures. Andy enjoys playing basketball during his free time and spending time at the park with his wife and son.

Alfredo Pineda
Civil Engineer

Alfredo grew up in Pasco, WA and graduated from WSU in 2010 with a degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering. His primary responsibility at Tri-City Engineers includes design and analysis of residential structures to meet industry standards and creation of detail design documentation for construction. Fun facts about Alfredo: This year he and his wife will be celebrating their 15th wedding anniversary. He enjoys spending time with friends and family. When not at work, you can find him at one of his kids’ practices/games.

Zach Collins, PE
Mechanical/Structural Engineer

Zach grew up in the lower Yakima Valley (Toppenish and Zillah), which he left to attend Eastern Washington University where he received his B.S. in mechanical engineering in 2018. He worked for a short time after graduation in Spokane Valley until he and his family moved to the Tri-Cities in 2019 to be closer to other family. Although educated in mechanical engineering, Zach has learned and provided structural engineering services for Tri-City Engineers and our wide array of custom residential/commercial projects. Fun facts about Zach: Zach enjoys spending time with his family, spending time outdoors, running, climbing Mt. Adams, 3D printing, and most recently picked up wood working.

Dylan Garza, LEED GA
Architectural Designer / Project Manager

Dylan grew up in Othello, WA and studied at the University of Oregon receiving his B.ARCH degree. He is currently finishing up his Architectural (ARE's) tests to become a professionally licensed Architect. He recently had a beautiful little girl, Addylan, with his wife Jessica. He says his family is gonna grow some more. Dylan loves the daily interaction with clients. He has been aiding and guiding our clients with custom residential and commercial designs. He takes quality over quantity very seriously and pushes our structural engineering team to meet and exceed his unique design details. Fun facts about Dylan: He competes for a Men's softball team, enjoys the outdoors, is active in his church at LC7 as one of the kids leaders, and loves spending time with is family, and when we say family, it's a huge family. Quote on quote: "if you throw a rock in tri-cities, it's bound to hit one of his family members."

Jason Teng
Civil Engineer

Jason graduated from Washington State University Tri-Cities in 2021 with a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and spent the first few years of his career designing solar panel systems. Since then, Jason has been expanding his knowledge on both Civil and Structural engineering at the office. Jason has been helping on our post frame projects while also learning to create civil plan sets. Aside from work, Jason enjoys volleyball, spending time with friends and family, checking out food spots and reading.

Mica Olin
Architectural Designer

Mica Olin grew up in Pasco, WA and graduated from Chiawana in 2020 and has been working in construction since 2015. Prayerfully moving forward in the construction field pursuing apprenticeship and hands on training. He has experience with residential homes. His primary responsibility at Tri-City Engineers include providing residential and structural plans tailored to the clients and cities request/requirements. Outside of work, Mica enjoys playing piano, writing, volleyball, and spending time with his wife, Claire.
